Prebrief:

Welcome to the Pit, a.k.a. "The Dustbowl of Doom."

Imagine a Russian mine tunnel that's been turned into a death trap. There's a cave in the middle, a bunch of overturned mine carts, and a ventilation shaft that's probably filled with toxic fumes. Sounds like a great place to fight, right?

Key Points to Remember:

Don't get caught in the open. The Pit is all about tight spaces and sneaky maneuvers. If you're out in the open, you're a sitting duck.

Use the mine carts for cover. Those overturned carts are your best friends. Climb on top, hide behind them, or even jump from one to another.

Flanking is your friend. There are a bunch of narrow paths around the Pit. Use them to sneak up on your enemies and catch them off guard.

Advanced Tips:

• The ladders are your escape routes. There are ladders all over the place. Use them to get a better view of the action, or to escape a bad situation.

• Don't forget about the pipes. The pipes that run along the ceiling can also be used to get around.

• Bring a shotgun. The close-quarters combat in the Pit makes a shotgun a great weapon.
