Escape from Vorkuta's Frozen Hell

Welcome to Vorkuta, a frozen hellhole straight out of a nightmare. This mid-sized map is based on the infamous gulag where David Mason and Viktor Reznov tried to break free in the original Black Ops. Now, it's your turn to escape this icy prison and secure it once and for all.

1. Warming Up

   Remember, it's freezing here. Keep moving to stay warm and avoid becoming a frozen popsicle. Explore the entire map to get a feel for the layout and be prepared for anything.

   
   

2. Warning Signs

   Use the Recon Combat Specialty to see enemies approaching from afar. This is especially useful on a larger map like Vorkuta.

   
   

3. Reach Out

   Consider using the Long Barrel attachment on your weapon if it supports it. With all the open spaces, you might need a bit of extra range.

Advanced Map Tips

The Excavator: This thing is a beast! Climb inside and cycle between different views for a tactical advantage.

The Wreckage: Use the broken metal for cover to ambush unsuspecting enemies.

Warheads: This building offers great vantage points, but watch out for enemies in the Lab.
